Scope: (2) 8×20 Trade Show Exhibit Design & production
The Challenge
SOMOS Foods tasked Good Time Creative with reimagining their existing booth properties to create an immersive, restaurant-inspired sampling experience across both sides of the aisle. The goal was to design one 10x20 space supporting sampling and a second 10x20 space supporting meetings and storage.
What The experience needed to deliver:
Hot bar style service station for a build-your-own-bowl sampling experience.
A sales meeting space designed to feel like a sit-down dining area.
Integration of SOMOS brand personality and identity.
Digital signage to display daily sampling menus and brand sizzle reels.
A thoughtful layout that visually connects the two booths while maintaining a unique and cohesive brand presence.
The Solution
Good Time Creative designed two thematic and immersive 8x20 exhibits that showcased SOMOS’ products and branding in an interactive, and engaging way. The exhibits structures were custom fabricated from wood panels and finished in vinyl mural graphic overlays, dimensional/lit signage, neon signage, and custom fabricated shelving displays.

1. Sampling Stations
Three interactive sampling stations allowed attendees to choose their rice, protein, and sides or toppings, while digital screens displayed menu boards highlighting product ingredients and bowl customization options.
2. Meeting Spaces
GTC custom fabricated bench seating to support the inviting, restaurant dining inspired design aesthetic. Custom fabricated cubby shelving displays showcased the product in an elevated way. Overall, the exhibit design emphasized product display and spotlighted the roots of SOMOS - rich with heritage and unique flavor.
how it all came together
Interactive sampling areas and intentional meeting spaces brought these (2) 8×20 exhibits to life. SOMOS’ brand identity and message shone through with bold graphics and styling. All of these elements came together for an unforgettable Expo West experience!
